Invest in your relationship!
Whether you are an engaged couple wanting to get your marriage off to the best possible start,
or a married couple wanting to improve what you have, get back on track or plan for new growth
and challenge, Prepare Enrich can help you do just that.
Your candid responses to a questionnaire provide a very effective way of gathering highly relevant data about your unique relationship. The responses are confidential, and it’s your answers that form the basis of the process.
In feedback sessions which follow:
- You will be helped to practise important communication and conflict resolution skills.
- You will gain a fuller understanding of the strengths within your relationship on which you can build and also any areas where growth is still needed.
- You will be guided through a number of exercises to help you focus on different aspects of your relationship.
Who provides the feedback?
The Prepare Enrich programme is offered by people who have been trained in the use of the materials and are known as Facilitators. They may be professional counsellors, clergy, or others who have developed skills in working with pre-married and married couples. Some make use of the inventories as part of a group course, particularly for marriage preparation. So contact us if you would like to be put in touch with a facilitator in your area.
What about cost?
£25 covers the costs of analysis and scoring, providing a structure for feedback sessions. Charges for facilitators’ time are by arrangement with them – some groups provide the feedback free as part of the operation of a charitable trust.
Can we do this on our own?
Completing an inventory and then receiving feedback from a facilitator is probably the best way to develop your relationship. But there is also an online Couple Check-up, developed specifically to look at the key issues which affect couples - personality, money, sex, family background and many more key areas. Whether you are going out together and are wondering if the relationship could be serious, are engaged, or have been married for a short or a long time, there is a version for you. So see our Couple Checkup pages for more information.
